Key: how to read this page

The Bill is shown clause by clause (then Schedule by Schedule). Where a clause or Schedule paragraph amends an existing Act, the affected provision is shown underneath in a shaded box, as it would read once the change is applied: insertions underlined, deletions struck through, pulled from legislation.gov.uk. A clause with no shaded box makes new law of its own rather than amending an existing Act. Text shown lightened and in italics is not yet in force.

An unofficial reading aid: always verify against the Bill and the legislation. Nothing here is legal advice.

Explanatory Notes · published by the Government with the Bill
110. This clause confers a power on the Secretary of State or Lord Chancellor to make transfer schemes so that, for example, staff, assets and contractual arrangements can be moved to the IIAA, if required, to facilitate the transition of cases from the FTT-IAC. As the IIAA will gradually replace the FTT-IAC, there may be a need for property, rights and liabilities to be transferred so that the IIAA can continue to increase its caseload.
